We are the engineering partner behind Mark My Words Media, a US digital marketing agency. We work on its site platform, build WordPress sites and connect the tools that track every lead.

  • Contributor to a Turborepo platform for local lead-gen sites
  • Cloudflare Workers that relay bookings and leads into CallRail
  • WordPress and Kadence builds, migrations and maintenance

The brief

Mark My Words Media is a US digital marketing agency that builds websites and runs lead generation for local businesses. It needed an engineering partner that could ship inside its own systems at agency pace. That is the role we play.

The work falls into three parts: the agency’s site platform, the integrations that track every lead, and WordPress builds and upkeep.

What we built as engineering partner

A platform for local lead-gen sites

The agency runs a Turborepo monorepo that generates local lead-generation sites for its clients. Each site is built with Astro, edited in a shared Keystatic CMS and deployed to Cloudflare Workers. A generator creates a new site from a content-plan spreadsheet, including pages, menus, location pages and redirects.

We work in that codebase alongside the agency’s own developers. Our contributions include the form-handler Worker, which checks reCAPTCHA on the server and filters spam before a lead reaches CallRail. We also fixed SEO titles and meta on location pages and added a blog hub.

Lead tracking CallRail can’t do alone

CallRail has no public API for creating a lead. For a jewelry retailer, we built a Cloudflare Worker that turns Calendly bookings and ring-builder submissions into CallRail leads. The UTM source and every intake answer land in their own fields. Calendly webhooks are verified by signature, and the Worker runs inside Cloudflare’s free tier.

For a sign company, CallRail’s native Pipedrive sync had stopped delivering form leads. We built a Worker that creates the person, deal, note and activity in Pipedrive. It ignores replayed webhooks and lets CallRail retry on errors. It was verified against the live account, then stood down the same day when the native sync recovered. The code stays ready if it breaks again.

WordPress builds and maintenance

Many of the agency’s clients run on WordPress with the Kadence theme. We build new sites from the agency’s template, migrate sites between hosts, fix analytics, schema and review widgets, and handle day-to-day maintenance.

How we worked

We work as an extension of the agency’s team, in its repositories, tickets and review process. That is the dedicated development team model, and it suits agencies that need engineering without hiring a department.

We keep each piece small and testable. Both relay Workers ship with their own automated tests. Each one has a README that records how it works and what is still open.

Where it stands

Live and ongoing. The site platform, the booking relay and the WordPress sites are in daily use. We keep shipping fixes and new builds. Next, we are researching a shared marketing CRM with the agency to bring calls, forms and bookings into one place.
